    The 360 Degree Leader

    I've read materials by Dr. Maxwell before. He is a sought-after coach and leader. I looked forward to reading his book because I feel very much like one of the people he tries to help in this book. The main point Dr. Maxwell makes is that everyone can be a person of influence wherever he or she happens to work. His advice is especially helpful for those who work in the middle (between entry-level and senior management). Persons who might see themselves as not achieving as much as they thought they would at this point in their careers. If there was a minus, I had a hard time accepting the leadership advice from Jack Welch and Rudy Guiliani as quoted in this book. Not criticizing their leadership, but I realize their successes in business came at a price in their personal lives. Dr. ...

    Good Christian leader

    I was surprised to find this author is a Christian and has been influential in the highest command level of the Army. I, also, am encouraged that those of us, in the middle, can influence those above and below us. Powerful information lies within this book.

    A TRUE LEADER

    I always prefer hardcover books. This book explains how the leader,i.e. where most leaders find themselves, the middle management position, can be effective in any circumstance. I believe every leader can gain from this book. I bought it as a gift to my son who is in mid-management. I have my own copy. He will benefit by it immensely.There was nothing I disliked about it.The book answers questions that every leader encounters and must respond to with confidence.
