VIVA LAS VEGAS IS VIVA INDEED!
This is a very sharp print of a great 1960's Elvis movie, esp. if you love automobiles and racing with 1960's sports cars. Plus, that 1960's sex kitten, Ann Margaret, gives Elvis a run for his money in the dance/ sing department. It is just as much her movie as his. Both performers are equally matched in extolling their talents, and it makes for a great movie the way they play off of each other with that 'innocent' 60's sex appeal: makes you remember when driving was dangerous and sex was safe! This version also contained the original trailer for the movie, plus a voice-over narration of the movie that pointed out alot of little known facts involving both Anne Margaret & Elvis. Classic 60's romance, fun story, great nostalgia, great value for the money
I bought this DVD because I grew up in this era. I was around 11 or 12 and the music and clothes brought back such great memories, pure nostalgia for me! I loved Ann Margaret and Elvis movies at that age...still do, and it was so much fun to revisit the styles and dreams of my youth. The storyline was pretty unbelievable, but that's part of it's charm. I also loved seeing scenes of the old Las Vegas, since my daughter and I visit there every other year together. The DVD had extra scenes on it as well and was in perfect condition. I would recommend this product to anyone that can identify with my likes, it is well worth owning!I bought this DVD because I grew up in this era. "Elvis Shines On Vegas"
Here we have another great Presley movie. What a pair Elvis and Ann Margret. What could go wrong. They really light the screen up. Watch them do the musical number C'mon Everybody and you'll see what I mean. Elvis is a race car driver and he does that very well. He sings some real great songs to. But he does show off his acting ability. As I stated before if your a true Elvis fan then you know about this movie. If your starting out collecting Elvis. Study Elvis and his movies and you'll know what I'm talking about. You have here a family movie that anyone can watch. You have here a music video. You have here a Man that can act. viva las vegas
this was one of elvis'best movies,,lots of music and car racing and of course ann-margaret and the still beautiful town of las vegas,,its neat to see the old casino's that are no longer here and how the downtown area has changed. this movie was out when i was a child and now my children are enjoying just as much..how time has flown and he is still remebered in this way....god bless elvis and thanks lisa marie for letting the new generation learn what we had.this was one of elvis'best movies,,lots of music and car racing and of course ann-margaret and the still beautiful town of las vegas,,its neat to see the old casino's that are no longer here and how the downtown area has changed. this movie was out when i was a child and now my children are enjoying just as much..how time has flown and he is still remebered in this way....god bless elvis and thanks lisa marie for letting the new generation learn what we had.
