Plot writing excellent
The writers for this program have done a splendid job in creativity......... the way each episode opens out into its little twists and turns is very clever. The main characters of the program are totally believable in their roles and do excellent portrayal of their responsibilities, coupled with the beautiful surrounds and 'holiday atmosphere' - I think its totally entertaining. I've worked my way right up to and just completed watching season 6, and wow what a season it was. Full of exciting developments and as always a little bit of sorrow. Very good viewing.
Being a fan of 'Death in Paradise' since the first episode, I am still interested in the series and the evolution of the characters involved. The bumbling antics of inspector Humphrey is always a delight and the dry character of the commissioner makes the series worth the time taken to view it. My only beef is the fact that each new series is down to only 8 episodes. But overall - still one of my favourites.Being a fan of 'Death in Paradise' since the first episode, I am still interested in the series and the evolution of the characters involved.
