A LOT TO LIKE ABOUT THIS MULTIMETER.
This multimeter comes in two varieties, Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth. I paid extra and bought the one with Bluetooth because I was curious about what it did. It was not a good idea. My android 13 phone does not seem to support the software you download – though the Store says it should work on it - so I have not tested that part of it. Why did I buy this multimeter? I needed a new multimeter for working on electronics as my other one was old and not always reading true. Testing this new multimeter, it appears to read reasonably well so tick for that. What else does it offer? Auto-ranging is always nice to have, tick. A temperature check is another nice feature to have. Diode test, tick. Min/Max recording, tick. NCV, tick. While on NCV, it would be nice to have it as a separate button or ... This multimeter comes in two varieties, Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth. Also has a strong magnet for supporting it while working in metal cupboards or cabinets. The cables for the prongs are longer than usual, which is something I have never had before, and I like the location of the sockets. While talking about the sockets, I like the yellow shutters that change as you rotate the dial, stopping you from putting the probes into the wrong sockets. That is a big tick because I have blown multimeters before by not checking the sockets first; very clever. It is not all good news. The multimeter comes in a carry case but, in real life, my life, it does not get to stay in it for long. I would like to see areas built into the multimeter to take the cables. Now, they hang loosely from the sockets because that is how I move and work with the multimeter.

Pros: Good general purpose dvm for low voltage only 6000 count display is good' Cons:Defective assembly regards the faulty fuse clip on both 800ma and the 20 amp fuses. This could present an oh&s issue under high voltage and high current situations. I would have expected ceramic fuses and not glass tube type. The red test lead was defective in that it would not fully insert into the dvm socket. Absolute rubbish. DON'T BUT THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Hi, I'd like to return this thing for a refund. It is dead in the box. No batteries I have tried will power it. Also the rotary control can't go past the vertical position, so all of the functions on the left side of the dial are unusable. I don't want a replacement because I don't want to risk another piece of junk.. Steve
