After I unpacked the inverter, I herd a rattle as I move the inverter. I discovered that one of the 240 volt sockets was lose(very dangerous), I opened it and reset the clip holding the socket. I proceeded to install the inverter and tested it with an maximum 2000w induction cooker. I found that the maximum the inverter can handle is 1600w, any more and it cut out. New battery fully charged. So conclusion is that the inverter is over rated and quality is lacking. I don't recommend this inverter.

Solid machine, but could be improved.

The 2000w is really well constructed but, with most of the cheaper inverters, cheap capacitors make a big drain on the battery on start up. The battery connection cables could not handle the drawdown on my two 129Ah batteries (in parallel), and constantly tripped the low voltage alarm and shutdown of the unit. When I switched to, professionally made heavy duty cables, the inverter works beautifully. By comparison, I purchased a Giantz 3000w/6000w inverter which I returned very quickly. Poorly made, loose connections and failed to perform as well as the 2000w/4000w. If you can get away with the smaller inverter, I suggest stay with the 2000w. Overall, the earlier model shows great professionalism and sturdiness of construction. Certainly, I would recommend the 2000w. If Giantz can ...

    Not 2000w as rated

I have tested this on several different items of varying wattage. This only successfully runs items that are less than 10000w. I believe the claim of 2000w is lies. I contacted the supplier, but they continue to lie and try to te me a 1100w microwave (max power) wont rin on a 2000w inverter. This is rubish, because I have another 2000w inverter which runs it fine. Be warned...this product is not a 2000w inverter. Its likely a 1000w continuous and 2000w surge inverter.

  • Fan wont stop running amd missing power cables

The fan on the inverter wont stop running even on very cold nights, so the <1amp per hour idle is not possible as it states and is very noisy. There was no power cables delivered as it states there are in the pictures and discription.

  • Great value for the money spent.

I was very skeptical before purchasing but upon receiving and installing it, I was pleasantly surprised. I have it hooked up to my camping batteries and have run a 1500W coffee machine making coffee pod coffee and producing instant hot water for tea. My only complaint is the location of the fuses inside the chassis. I haven't needed to replace any fuses yet but if I ever do, it will require the opening of the unit, which when dealing with a device that produces 240V is not ideal. Also, the fuse setup is like 5 x 40 amp fuses in parallel. Basically, this means that as soon as one fuse blows, the load in the other 4 will instantly increase by 25%, which will then blow all of the other fuses in quick succession. An externally accessible circuit breaker would have made much more sense. As the ...

  • Sorry my australian made equipment not working because it looking for zero volt between neutral and earth. What can I do?

I tested found 239.9v across active and neutral terminal and 89v between active and earth terminal. This is not australian standard. Any idea for solve it or need a return please. I know most of the equipments will work without earth but this particular equipment will look for proper earthing. What can I do now?
