Lens arrived as new in a new condition box and as desired. The dispatch time was a little longer than I would've liked but it still arrived within the estimated dispatch time upon purchase. Once it was dispatched it arrived (to Ireland) promptly, tracked and had to be signed for. Communication was very good and answered all of my questions promptly and professionally, and provided invoice for my own needs. (Lens is from Australia region for info) .     Early days yet - but very pleased so far

    All functions work well - Stabiliser is great. Good quality. I was concerned buying this from Kacha as the price was so good. Seems like it is for the Korean market, but that is not a problem for me. It does the job well and has the genuine Sony quality. Pay more if you want the same lens without the Korean stuff.

    Among the most wanted wide lenses for Sony mirrorless systems

    Zeiss has been Sony’s long term partner in manufacturing quality optic products and they did not disappoint in creating this outstanding piece of ultra-wide lens. When mounted on FE (full frame) Sony body, this lens is really wide. It finds its perfect use in outdoors and landscapes shooting as well as architecture and interior. The ED (means: Extra Low Dispersion) glass elements are responsible for fantastic edge-to-edge sharpness and colour reproduction. It certainly is one of the most preferred wide lenses for Sony mirrorless systems. This lens continuously receives 5 stars reviews from both professionals and amateurs. It is fully compatible with both the a7 and a5000, a6000 and older NEX series cameras.

    VERSATILE LENS

    On my full frame Sony a7Riii this lens is great for concerts and events where I both need to be close to encompass a a quartet or turn around and take in the whole audience. Allows me to compose my landscape shots and permits good depth of field. Highly recommended.

    Great value for cheap price for people that like shooting on the wider end

    The lens is very sharp, not quite top notch but still a Zeiss lens. At full price it would be underwhelming but if you can get it used at 50% that it’s an amazing purchase! Great if you shoot wide and can’t afford the gm version!
