Great minifigures in classic design
Very happy camper, got several great minifigures plus a great ship to add to my growing collection. Ackbar is probably my favorite part, really glad to have the Admiral with great detailing. Best LEGO Puzzle, ever since The 7659 Imperial Landing Craft, also known as a Sentinel-Class Landing Craft, was released back in 2007
That on its own wouldn't be enough to win me over. Luckily, the ship is also just masterwork of function and display-ability. Comprised of three primary sections, the instructions have you assemble them largely as separate entities. They're then pieced together using a ton of cleverly positioned connector pegs that lock the sections together into an attractive and, more importantly, firm and stable whole. That durability comes in handy because the Troop Transporter is also a great model to actually play with. Accessible via a trio of large doors, the ship's interior cavity is both detailed and impressively spacious. The set only comes with four mini-figures but I was able to stuff a whopping 15 in there complete with their accessories. And once fully closed the doors won't budge. You can ... That on its own wouldn't be enough to win me over. Luckily, the ship is also just masterwork of function and display-ability. A good buy.
Simple enough to construct, and a very good price for this particular model. The model itself is roughly a foot wide and 5 inches long. The construction is fairly simple, and would be suitable for a child as young as seven years of age, in my humble opinion. I highly recommend it.
