I also do NOT wish to install the faceplate/bezel since it is just an inconvenience to remove. The device looks fine without the faceplate. The date of manufacture is March 2, 2022. I believe the 7 year life begins on the first date of “power on” not the date of manufacture. Thank you ProCamp.
- i***m (22)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseGood replacement for a Safe-T-Alert unit because it's a little bigger and covers up the drill holes from the original installation.It is an exact replacement for the Dometec at half the price and half to one third the price of the Safe-T- Alert. Complaints about production dates are irrelevant because service life doesn't start until it's activated so it should last 7 to 10 years depending on how long you keep it powered up. Worked perfect and tested out great.They activate at end of life cycle.
