the fan is unexpectedly loud, but ya it works great, I do regret buying it after hearing that fan but I wanted to try one of these that had a fan vs a large heat spreader ment to be Inline with high volume server cooling that we just don't have on consumer hardware, so ima make shift an alternative cooling solution, probably just gona mount a much bigger fan and controle it via pwm and fancontrol on linux lol, otherwise ya it's a x540-t2 and works great
