If you want to recharge your mobile telephone for example be prepared to wait 18 hours. I cannot imagine how long it would take if you used all 7 ports at once. The only positive thing is each port could be switched on or off with an LED showing if the port was live, but this could be why the charger was saw so slow, all the power was used to aluminate the LED's
