        A must to avoid "long run" voltage drop during 110W TX..

        The only way this OEM cable can be improved for 110 Watt radios is to start from scratch from a 4 Pin Molex plug, whereas dividing the strands of #8 Automotive grade red and black cable (both pins each) with heat shrink over the strands and 5/16 Heat shrink over the divided pairs of positive and another over the negative. I rarely have to do this but when longer runs than this OEM cable is needed, this is the way to go. I would like to suggest 30 amp Maxi "larger in size blade type"in line fuses and sealed/capped fuse holders (At battery) to minimize voltage drop on all makeups of these for all 110 watt and above applications including this one. Use the loom as well to further eliminate chances of rubbed shorts. -Doug-
