About this product

Product Information

A tribe of bushmen living in the Kalahari Desert find their peaceful, happy existence threatened when a Coca-Cola bottle falls from the sky. The natives squabble incessantly over ownership of the mysterious item, which they believe to be a gift from the gods. • Dated but still funny

I had seen this originally when it came out in theaters, but I had forgotten how really funny it is. The acting and cinema photography dates it, but it only adds to the HUGE discrepancy between the life of the tribesman and the life of the "civilized" people. Once I got over the shock of the hair styles and dress, the sheer strangeness of it all, it was funnier than I remembered. The acting is so bad it is funny, the only person who seems sane is that little bushman. The acting is over the edge, but with a "this could have possibly happened" feeling about it. It changes from normal speed to fast forward irregularly, which only makes it funnier. The scientist with his "interesting social phenomena" around women trying to drive a bush truck that has no handbrake and can't be turned off ...

  • THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY IS FUNNY MANY LAUGHS

I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE MADE IN AUSTRALIA MANY TIMES AND I LAUGH EVERY TIME IT IS SO CLEVER AND FUNNY. I WILL BUY THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY PART 2 WHEN I CAN. IT IS A LAUGH A MINUTE. WITHOUT MAKING FUN OF ANYONE. THIS IS A REALLY GREAT MOVIE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

  • The Gods Must Be Crazy 1 & 2.

The Gods Must Be Crazy 1 & 2 are great comedies. A chance to laugh at ourselves & our " civilization. " I love the characterizations. A must see for the whole family!!

  • All is well.

Movie came in a timely manner and was free form any problems. And now that I must add a few more characters in order for this thing to let me go, I will keep typing. What can I say, it was a $5.00 purchase.
