Good value, good looks
Good value, looks as good as the $600 European model it replaced, albeit not as powerful, but therefore quieter. We never used full speed on the old hood anyway. It's 40 mm shallower than most canopies, so doesn't protrude into our kitchen as much, and we don't bump our heads any more. Only complaint is that the buttons are cheaply made and very noisy, producing a very loud 'click' when switching speeds or switching off. smart, lightweight
The unit is light so can set out on wall with one hand and mark fixing points with the other, no need for 2 people, looks smart and has enough flue to allow for extra ceiling height. Would be better to have the power lead come out of the back in stead of the top but that is installer preference.

For the price it's just ok as expected
The package comes incomplete as it does not provide vent pipe which I found surprising. Looks good but is not strong enough to do proper job.
