These antennas are advertised as being for the UV5R, not the UV-S9, but the stock antenna is the same for both, and for the UV3R+ too, so I thought they would fit mine. They do fit my UV3R+ perfectly but, strangely, needed filing down for my UV-S9. Pretty easy to do though (see photo). They're lightweight and flexible so do not strain the socket when waved about.
