Just What I Was Looking For:

Needed a club to hit that 155-170 distance. Regular 5 iron just isn't working well for me. Play a few rounds no with this club and finally got to practice with it yesterday and it's working very well for the distance and flight I need. Glad I decided to get it. Just I could find a 6 rescue club (27 degrees) as well. Thanks Mike H. Jax, NC

  • A really great club!

The Taylor Made 4 Rescue is easy to hit! The feel of the club in my hand is terrific. I like the way it sets up addressing the ball.

  • Taylormade rescue wood

I have a Taylormade Burner Draw driver and 3 wood. The burner rescue wood makes a good addition to my set. It is easy to hit and feels good. I use Ping G15 irons and Cleveland wedges. The rescue wood was a good investment. It arrived in great shape and on time at a reasonable price. What else can I say?

  • Taylor Made Burner Rescue Hybrids

The Taylor Made Burner Rescue Hybrid, new on the market in 2007, is Taylor Made's best product yet in this area. The 65 gram graphite shaft and the light weight grip are perfect matches for the relatively light weight club head. I have been trying out hybrids for the past two years in a effort to replace some of my aging Orlimar TriMetal fairway clubs. I even tried the expensive Bobby Jones clubs made by the maker of the TriMetals, Jesse Ortiz. I found the Boby Jones clubs too heavy for me and too unlike my TriMetals to replace any of them. I've tried most of the new hybrids and find the Burner the best fit for me. I am 66 but still use regular shafts rather than senior shafts. I still carry a single digit handicap. I found the burner hybrids very easy to swing with a solid feel. ...

  • Great Go To Club!

I now have three of these clubs (3-4-5) and have really come to depend on them. In fact, I have taken all but one of my fairway woods out of my bag because I have gotten so much distance and coverage from these clubs. I find I can work the ball in either direction with these clubs but, as with any club, you need a relatively good lie to pull this off. The design on the crown helps with alignment and was one of the reasons I chose this club after hitting at a local golf shop (besides, the salesman recommended this club over newer years versions) The ball comes out of rough relatively well but because they are somewhat low profile, you need to be careful to not slide beneath a ball on a fluffy lie. I would definitely recommend these clubs for mid handicappers that are looking for a ...
