Larado the series
I enjoyed this series when it was on television but could not remember a great deal about it. This dvd is a sample of six of the first season shows. After viewing it I have decided to purchase the entire series. It would be considered a classic western in that it has the good guys always winning against the bad guysbut it goes beyond that. The three Texas Rangers are human and get into trouble with thier boss and into various situations with the townspeople where they are stationed. There is quite a bit of humor and the play between the three main characters is very normal in that they are not always nice to each other and they have thier own goals and different ways of releasing tension. Laredo
This was one of the best of a long forgotton era in TV, the western! I grew up with these kinds of shows, The Big Valley, Gunsmoke, Lancer (I wish I could find on DVD), Have Gun Will Travel, etc... And Laredo was a grat one, with humor, action, and drama. William Smith has always been one of my favorite's. Return to a grerat family time in Tv History with this DVD.

Enjoying Laredo again
It had been over 35 years since I had watched an episode of Laredo. It brought back so many memories. I especially like the character of Reese in the show. It's too bad that they don't make wseterns like this anymore.

Family Western
One of the good, old time westerns, that was fun for the whole family. All the very different personallities, made for a nice enjoyable family time, knowing it was a clean show.
