Horrible Surround Mix!!!!
The dts surround mix of the original quad release of this album is absolutely atrocious!!!! The remastered CD sounds great that is included, but the god awful quad mix with its over thought, and terribly executed, pans is only made worse that the sound quality is unlistenable!!! Literally it’s a hundred times worse than the worst stuff in the vault from say Robert Johnson…it sounds like a vinyl record that has been purposely scratched, and also some of the tracks, like the ending to War Pigs are COMPLETELY different!! A total different end to that song!!! A horrible, horrible letdown…The dts surround mix of the original quad release of this album is absolutely atrocious!!!! The first all metal album and one of the best
This remanis one of the best metal albums ever and it is perhaps the first all metal album ever. With one psych rock stuck in. Planet caravan. Psych rock was replaced by metal and prog in 1970 anyways. The sabs basically created the super hard style of metal that became many styles later on. Led zep did too but they were not metal band. This was the first all metal band and this one still sounds better than a lot that came after it. This remanis one of the best metal albums ever and it is perhaps the first all metal album ever.
