The item arrived as described, but in some of the worst packaging i have ever seen, and the packaging and shipping costs certainly didn't justify what I was charged. I was fortunate it wasn't damaged in transit.

Fast shipping and arrived as advertised. Excellent!

  • Excellent reference source

Book breaks down the CMMI process in more detail and provides more examples of evidence artifacts than the SEI's standard book (v 1.2). I'm the CMMI Lead for our project, and our Mission Assurance Lead recommended this book, as he had seen CMMI auditors (both internal and external) using this book as an additional reference. We just went through our VER/VAL audit (Lvl 3), and all processes were found to be "Fully Implemented". This book was a valuable resource in helping to clarify what artifacts may (or may not) provide sufficient evidence of implementation. On a side note, SEI is due to release their v 1.3 of CMMI process by mid-2011. Having gone through a pilot training course for the new release, I feel extremely confident that this book will remain a current, valid resource.
