Weekend w/ Warren
Informative about Zevon's early years and his struggle to "make it" in the music world. The oral history format lends a fast pace and a "you are there" perspective. Interesting lore about his songwriting process. This book was easily finished in one weekend by an avid reader and a big fan of Zevon's piano-based songs. Going to pass this book on for sure.

An insiders look into the talented yet raw life of rock's "Excitable Boy". Zevon was prolific and lived the "Wild Age" - "leaning on a street light listening to some song inside". This book sheds insight into the private life of a misunderstood & under-appreciated icon. He will be missed.

i bought the book because i am a zevon fan.he was a great song writer which i got to see play live at a night club called tink's in my home town.the book goes thru his life which was entertaint in its self. great book well written. big zevon thumbs up!
