The 28mm conversion lens is really nice to use. I still found that the inconvenience of the attachment method meant that when I put the lens on, I kept it on all day, but at least it was a comfortable size to use. It’s slightly less portable with the longer lens protrusion, but it’s not nearly as restrictive as the 50mm one. For me, I still prefer to shoot with the “naked” camera and it’s 35mm equivalent lens, but if you’re someone that really loves the 28mm field of view then I think you’ll be happy with this one. By the numbers, 35mm to 28mm doesn’t seem like all that much, but it does make significant compositional changes when you’re working with landscapes, which is the scenario I would most recommend for that setup

I found the Fuji X100f 35mm equivalent focal length a little too narrow for my personal taste. Since using the wide conversion lens, the 28mm equivalent focal length is perfect; not too wide, not too narrow. I leave it on my X100f all the time. It doesn't add a lot of extra weight or size. I use this set-up primarily for street photography.

It makes the picture just that bit wider. Not so much that it looks ultra wide, but you can fit more in the frame and get a little bit more artistic with landscape photos rather than feeling like I need to pick out details. This was a good buy in the sense I can get more out of my X100 without having to buy a whole new camera. The quality is excellent. It is well made.

Very easy to use, the adapter screws on the X100F and removes just as easily. Stopped down to 4 or 5.6, it's reasonably sharp, Compact and portable, this will be one of my travel combinations.

Excellent IQ, This Version II is automatically paired and optically corrected into the camera. It even seems to me that the sharpness is better than with the original camera lens. Perhaps this is due to the increased depth of field, or perhaps an emphasis included in the automatic corrections of the body?
