It works fine right now, but it was advertised as an open box item. In reality it is an old unit that has a very short useful life. The automatic update expiration date has passed and no more operation system and security updates are available. This means that soon it will become obsolete, non secure and perhaps totally useless.

Forget ChromeOS, I followed some detailed instructions on line and converted this HP into a Linux based HTPC running LibreElec (Kodi). It is perfect, much lower cost than a Raspberry Pi, and it is more sturdy and robust.
