The item wasn't in perfect condition when I purchased it but it wasn't that bad either, but because it was shipped in only a bag with nothing to protect it, it ended up becoming crushed in shipping and completely split open along the bottom seam. I take partial responsibility as I did not specifically ask how it would be packaged when shipped, but I have never had an item shipped in just a bag before (like how a t-shirt would be shipped). I would recommend asking how your item will be shipped.
