More of a holiday home marketing exercise than dedicated yoga DVD
Howard Napper is an excellent yoga teacher, and he passes on his knowledge very clearly and in easy to follow steps. Unfortunately this is rather overshadowed by some heavy marketing of a holiday home, which has nothing to do with the yoga really. Some of the positions have clear names, others seemed to be skipped or mentioned in passing so it was hard to see what they referred to. Fortunately Howard Napper has done some excellent solo Yoga DVDs, which I would recommend.Howard Napper is an excellent yoga teacher, and he passes on his knowledge very clearly and in easy to follow steps. Women only, forget it- this is ideal for all creaky men
Due to the snow and winter weather, I was unable to pursue my normal healthy outdoor activities and a friend suggested I try Yoga. All the local classes were full (and all female!) so I bought this DVD. After watching it a couple of times I decided to have a go, so I moved the furniture, played the DVD, putting it on 'hold' to carry out the movements I had selected. I set myself at least an hour a couple of times a week, and after a few weeks I am really enjoying it, and what's more I am keeping up my normal level of fitness.(in case you haven't sussed it, I am a retired male) As a beginner to Yoga, this DVD was superb in teaching me the moves,especially with the delightful Penny Smith teaching!. I am sure it would appeal to people more experienced than me, and my message is to all you ...
