Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2001 im Fachbereich Padagogik - Heilpadagogik, Sonderpadagogik, Note: 1,7, Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin (Institut fur Rehabilitationswissenschaften), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Unter Berucksichtigung der Bedeutung von Kommunikation fur jeden Menschen, kommt der Kommunikation als padagogische Aufgabe eine wesentliche Stellung zu. Der Mangel an Kommunikationsmoeglichkeiten kann weitreichende Folgen haben und zur Einschrankung der persoenlichen Freiheit, zu Einsamkeit, sozialer Isolation und Fremdbestimmung fuhren. Insbesondere bei Menschen mit Behinderungen ist Kommunikation die Voraussetzung fur assistierendes Helfen. Im Hinblick auf Schule sind weder Erziehung noch Unterricht ohne Kommunikation denkbar. Einerseits hat Erziehung die Aufgabe, kommunikative Fahigkeiten zu vermitteln, andererseits stellt Erziehung dabei selbst einen kommunikativen Prozess dar. Die erzieherische Arbeit wird demnach dann erfolgreich sein, wenn sie sich an den Gesetzmassigkeiten kommunikativer Prozesse orientiert, und wenn sie zu einer hoechstmoeglichen Verstandigung fuhrt. Bei Personen mit Angelman-Syndrom bedingen gerade die Beeintrachtigungen im Bereich der Kommunikation einen Grossteil der Behinderung. Dabei wird in der Literatur betont, dass diese Beeintrachtigungen vor allem die verbal-expressiven Fahigkeiten und nicht so sehr die perzeptiven betreffen. Damit sind entscheidende Anhaltspunkte fur eine Foerderung im Bereich der Kommunikation bei Kindern und Jugendlichen mit AS gegeben. Angesichts der Bedeutsamkeit von Kommunikation im padagogischen Kontext allgemein und bei der Foerderung von Schulern mit AS im Besonderen, werde ich mich in der folgenden Arbeit dem Thema Kommunikation bei Schulern mit Angelman-Syndrom widmen. Dazu nehme ich erstens eine Bestimmung des Begriffes Kommunikation vor und eroertere zweitens die Kommunikation von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit AS.
