Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Sozialpadagogik / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Fachhochschule Jena, Veranstaltung: Kulturelle Kommunikation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Was bedeutet es, im sprachlichen Sinn, eine Frau oder ein Mann zu sein und an wie viele Grenzen stossen wir, wenn wir mit dem anderen Geschlecht kommunizieren wollen? Auch mir geht es oft so, dass ich in privaten Gesprachen mit Mannern an meine Grenzen stosse, weil ich mich einfach unverstanden fuhle. Deshalb habe ich mich mit Debora Tannen beschaftigt, um zu verstehen, warum Manner und Frauen in verschiedenen Situationen so reagieren, wie sie reagieren. Wie mir scheint, geht es da nicht nur mir so, der Markt boomt mit Bestsellern, die alle den kleinen Unterschied zwischen Mann und Frau erklaren. Ich habe mich dabei auf den sprachlichen Unterschied konzentriert und dabei bemerkt, dass sich damit auch nicht nur Sprachwissenschaftler beschaftigt haben, sondern auch Soziologen, Psychologen, Antropologen und andere. Dabei habe ich entdeckt, dass dies ein breit gefachertes Gebiet ist und man nicht auf alles eingehen kann. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die verschiedenen Kommunikationsstile der Geschlechter zu beleuchten und die Grunde fur Kommunikationskonflikte zu erklaren. Im Leben ist es oft so, dass der Mann sich gefuhlsmassig distanziert, haufig belehrend spricht und die Oberhand im Dialog behalten will. Die Frau dagegen nimmt sich zuruck und baut den Partner durch Bestatigungen auf. Dies alles, so sagt es Friedemann Schulz von Thun, wird schon in der fruhen Kindheit durch das unterschiedlich strukturierte Fruhschicksal erworben. Auch die mannigfachen Interpretationsregeln von Frau und Mann fuhren oft zu Missverstandnissen. Da sie, so Malz und Borker, in verschiedenen Kulturen aufwachsen. Diese beiden Hypothesen moechte ich in Kapitel 1 naher beleuchten um eine erste Erklarung zu finden, wie es mit der Sozialisation und geschlechtspezifischem Sprechen einhergeht.
