I purchased an uncirculated1988 Australian $10 note from the seller. The note shipped to me was damaged. The bubble wrap outer packaging and inner envelope were both intact with no evident damage to them. The note contains a transparent "window" with a diffractive optically variable device (DOVD) image of Captain James Cook as a security feature. There was evident damage to the DOVD. I reasonably expected to receive an uncirculated and damage-free note. Such was not the case. I received a refund
