it works, but are better one's out there!
it is a weed seat,. but the hinges on it are very poorly designed, with a lot of slop in the seat, it has a lot of room to slip side ways and back and forth so if your old or have health issue ,. it can be a safety concern, I'd suggest buying something else more secure! and the brass seems of low quality turning green in a few days? other wise it is what it is and serves the purpose! but there are better out there!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

SUPER EASY TO INSTALL. Removed the old one and put this one on in less than five minutes.

These toilet seats are really pretty. I live in an old country farm house and this is just perfect in my bathroom. I had the other one by this company about 8 years and then it just came apart in the seams. But they craftsman ship in these and the product quality period is great. Product cost and assembly pracrice could be problem.
My toilet seat, like most oak seats, are assembled from pieces of oak, not one solid piece. The reason for replacement was the seat portion split. After being replaced the top split after applying minimum pressure when closed.
