I had a few headaches interfacing to my existing plumbing, as I couldn't find a fitting to connect to the threads on the old plumbing. In the end I had to use a threaded 38mm nale to female 40mm pipe fitting and add a barrel union. But it is all operating properly now. The pump is very quiet, and still has enough power to operate the pool cleaner as well.

The tree arrived promptly, and looked exactly the same as in the picture. There was some damage to the box, and some minor damage to the tree as a result, but the customer service people at ozplaza living could not have been more helpful when I told them about this. They responded promptly and were happy to receive photos so they could see what had happened. The service was very warm and friendly, and we were especially grateful that they offered a partial refund due to the damage. Outstanding!
