    I read this book last year and gave it as a gift to my son this year. It provides enough suggestions to teach someone how to cook without recipes and to experiment with different cuisines, using the 4 elements, Salt, Fat, Acid and Heat. Fascinating

    Art, Science, and the Joy of Cooking!
