Captured - Journey CD 1996 (remastered)
Journey's "Captured" was recorded from their 1980 stadium tour of the USA. It gained platinum status and in my opinion is their greatest recording before and since. As the title suggests, it 'captures' their energy, excitement and vitality on stage and every song is a potential single hit release. I have played it over and over since release and never tire of it to this day. Personally, I love the gatefold sleeve LP with great photographs of on-stage action. It's difficult to pick out a highlight or best track as the whole album seems to flow so smoothly - you can almost imagine yourself part of the huge crowds they attracted, many 20-30,000! But if you were to push me on an outstanding moment, I would say the fans' favourite "Lights" followed seamlessly by "Stay Awhile" is difficult to ... Once you have heard this double live album, the studio tracks do pale somewhat and you find yourself sticking to the vibrant guitar-laden, heavier feel of "Captured". Believe me, I have bought and listened to hundreds of soft and heavy rock albums over the years and seen most of the greats on-stage - this CD sums up the pop rock attitude of the early 80's perfectly.

JOURNY IS CLASSIC ROCK AND ROLL WITH HEART! The sound quality was excellent and art graphics were inspiring. Its not always easy to find classic rock in the stores today. Thank you E-bay for providing a good product at a good price! You made my day! Linda in NE

A great live CD if your'e a Journey fan, Perfect
Im a Journey fan and have seen them in concert a few times,This CD almost makes you feel like your'e back at the show,You can't go wrong, theres a great selection spanning years of Journey's music!!!!!

I DECIDE TO BUY THIS BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR IT FOR YEARS WHEN I OPENED IT UP ALTHOUGH IT DID NOT COM IN CASE IT WAS NOT A SCRATCH. I WOULD BUY MORE FROM THIS SITE.

Journey-Live 1980
A very good live album, with a lot of energy. However, since the original recording was around 1980, the sound quality is average and does not compare to cd's produced today. Overall, a suggested buy especially for fans of this era.
