Classic seiko styling but thinner and lighter. The titanium is slightly darker than the steel version which suits the watch better, I think. A beautiful subtle textured dial that only shows it's real delight under certain lights & the black dial +gold hands combination is the real winner for me. I know so many folk rave about the 'zaratsu' polishing; I just see a nice shiny watch & nothing amazing unless you carry a loupe with you all the time. We've all seen those folk who whip out their loupe to look at watches & jewellery..... Yep, they all have that look & that droning boring voice too.. The 9f is the pinnacle of quartz design, precision & accuracy; it's anti-backlash double tick is almodt inperceptible to the naked eye, it's just looks different & much smoother than your usual quartz tick. Of course this sbgx069 is the older version of the sbgx269, which has lost the seiko badge, buts essentially the same watch. So light & comfortable you do forget you're wearing it. I tried quite a few GS models; most were disappointing, too chunky, too heavy, or just too much shiny bling. Get one of these 069/269 if you're a watch nerd who doesn't care that nobody else will notice what a lovely thing you have on your wrist. It'll just make you smile every time you look at it.
