      Like it better than the expensive iron it replaced.

      After owning another well-known expensive brand which quit working after a little more than a year, I decided to give this iron a try. I have only had it a few weeks, but so far really like it. First of all, I LOVE the retractable cord. It makes storing the iron so much easier. It also irons heavier fabric like cotton (which is mostly what I iron) very well. Because the plate is coated, it does not slide as easily as a non coated plate, but I am guessing easy clean up will make it worth it. This iron is a tad heavy, but if you have no physical limitations, I wouldn't let this be a deal breaker. One last thing - because the cord is retractable, the iron is a bit taller than other irons when sitting on it's base. If storage is an issue (the shelves in my laundry room cabinets do not ...

      Great Iron from CHI

      The CHI iron is really good and has a very good amount of steam that is controllable. Heats up quick. The sole plate is smooth and glides over wrinkles. The handle and controls are very easy to use and it won’t give you hand cramps from holding it weird. Very good iron.

      IRONING MADE EASY

      As an elderly lady I've had my share of many different irons irons. Some I liked but most I didn't. This iron is wonderful for these reasons: It is easy to fill with water. It heats up very quickly. Temperature and steam controls are easy to adjust. STEAM is massive. NO LEAKS or drips. Not light weight (need some weight to get wrinkles) BUT not too heavy. A retractable cord that really works.
