Pros: I design and build high end systems, and I've been reading reviews, and searching the forums for some time wanting to finish off a build I've been working on. I've always regarded XFX as a top contender when it came time to purchasing a new video card. They have consistently provided great products, and their customer support reps are also some of the best in the business. Knowing that the next system build won't happen till sometime early next year when Zen and Vega finally arrive, and not wanting to spend the cash on a single 1080 card, a couple of 480 cards were definitely an option to consider. When XFX came out with their GTR RX 480 Black Edition Exclusively for Newegg with a Core Clock 1338 MHz, I got excited. When Newegg lowered the price by $50.00, I jumped all over it and bought two of them to run in Crossfire. This card right out of the box easily takes on 3DMark Fire Strike with 100% GPU load at less than 100 watts, and under 60C temps. It has a custom PCB that's as long as a GTX 1080. A Bright XFX LED Logo on the top of the card. The First Hard Swap Detachable Fans that make cleaning a lot easier, and now you can swap out the stock fans for New LED fans in red, white, or blue. Also included is a Sexy Custom XFX Aluminum Backplate in flat black with a glossy embossed XFX logo to protect your GPU while providing additional cooling overall. With Radeon WattMan, you can push your hardware to the limits. Take customization to a whole new level; control over clocks, voltages, and temperature. Cons: Why not make the LED's RGB? Other Thoughts: Obviously XFX has truly figured out the magic formula when it comes to the RX 480. Another great product from a great company, and I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. Out of the box it is an absolute beast that easily handles most games on high and ultra settings. Connect it to a Freesync monitor and you'll be in your gaming glory way into the wee hours of the morning.Read full review

I was kind of unsure if I wanted to buy a AMD based GPU but man i'm sure glad I did! I had upgraded from a GTX970 which I was told by people that it wouldn't be much of a difference... Well they were WRONG! It out performs my old GTX970 and not to mention the one I bought (XFX version) looks amazing in my tempered glass case! If I decide to crossfire later I will buy another one 100%

I've been using the graphics card for a little while and it's a lot more powerful then a AMD 470 running at 4 gigabytes. However, recommend it to anyone wanting good performance on most PC games. Games run good and played Halo 2 Anniversary edition. Run great and didn't have glitches during the game play.
