Powerful leaf blower at a great value
I love Makita tools and this one doesn’t disappoint. There is lots if power packed into this unit that weighs like a feather. So easy to use and the variable throttle control allows you to fine tune and even blow leaves and branches from the mulch bed without disturbing the mulch. Love it, 5 stars!! Don’t hesitate. I did not feel that the unobtanium extension was necessary for this tool to do its job. I love Makita tools and this one doesn’t disappoint. Biggest issue is the 3 minute run time with a brand new Makita OEM battery. It took me a while to even find a battery and charger for this; I expected there to be offers, links, owners manual, or someting with it. All I got was a blower in a box. It IS strong. It tried to suck my shirt off of me. the intake is directly @ the rearso if you are pointing straight ahead of you, the intake is right against your torso.Biggest issue is the 3 minute run time with a brand new Makita OEM battery. Great Battery Blower.
I have a couple of Blowers that I have used over the years. They go from zero to full blast with no in between. This Blower can go from zero to everything in between, a soft Blow to full out Blowing. It is great in the entrance to the house where it is in a small space. It has a great amount of power for the tough job and just enough to clean flower beds.

Great blower to use with LXT batteries
Great blower, especially if you already have Makita LXT products. The batteries can be used with this. It has a run time of abt 20-25 mins on 3 amp battery. It is light and powerful enough to get the work done. My wife loves it. I like that I no longer have to lug the power cord around for my electric blower.

Great Makita Blower
Others complain about battery life, but when you use the blower at it’s highest setting, that’s to be expected. Selection of 5 power modes with the highest setting more than powerful enough for my needs (residential). Batteries recharge fast, so not a big issue for me. We have a smaller yard and this blower gets both the front yard, back yard, 3 decks/patios and driveway and parking done on a single charge!Others complain about battery life, but when you use the blower at it’s highest setting, that’s to be expected.
