Tower fan
This is good value for money. The fan throws air very efficiently, and oscillates at a steady pace giving good air movement over a wide area. My only dislike is that there are no vanes to direct the air flow up or down. A simple feature I know but very useful when you do not want the air blowing directly ahead, and well worth a few dollars more onto the price.

Not for summer
Given the speed (or lack of) it is definitely not for Sydney summer. It is quiet and lightweight and easy to store, but pretty ineffective in cooling. Was told that it was more for air circulation on cooler days, which again means it is not for summer!

Great for winter

NOT worth the money!
The item was claimed to dry clothes cheaper and faster than a clothes drier, but it took 15 hours to dry 3 towels. I would NOT re commend this item to anyone. Use rope and make a clothes line or use a clothes airer. Cheaper and more efficient! DON'T waste your money!
