I have never had bluetooth headphones before and actually didn't even know it was a thing. Now with the iphone losing the headphone jack (and i'm sure some of the other main phones will be in the future as well) i'm starting to understand why. it is handy for me (even though my iphone still has a headphone jack) because many of the aftermarket phone cases have a port for the headphone jack that is so small that it makes it hard to use with anything other than the standard uncomfortable iphone earbuds. i mostly purchased these to use as i go running around town and i can't tell you how good they have been for it. i have had a few different pairs of wired earbuds for forever and i've had no complaints with them. but these jaybirds are amazing in that they don't end up tethering your head to your phone whether you carry it or put it in your pocket. the fit is great and somehow they stay in your ear without any trouble. i'm so used to giving my wired earbuds a nudge every minute or 2 just to keep them in my ears but i ran a 10k with these and didn't adjust them once. the sound quality is fantastic too and the setup and voice prompts you hear as you navigate are clear and easy to understand. i'm still not sure where the battery is on these things because they do last quite a while when charged. negatives would be that you do have to make sure they are adequately charged, you can't just decide to go on a run etc and grab them like you would regular earbuds, and you need to make sure your phone is charged enough too since it will be using more battery with bluetooth on, but in a day where you charge everything all the time anyway it hasn't been a big deal. also they do create such a good seal in your ear that you can't hear any outside noise so you have to be careful and aware if you are using them near traffic or somewhere you might need to be able to hear your surroundings. but that's also probably why they fit so good and sound so good and i'm sure you could view blocking outside noise as being a positive as well. actually i just wore these on a flight and it was a turboprop plane where i was seated right by the propeller and other people complained about how loud it was but i didn't even notice. i don't know where these things have been all my life but now i can't live without them.Read full review

Jaybird bluebuds X - They cut out or "skip" about every time I use them at least once or twice but quite a bit when I run. The sound is good but I would get the new X2 version instead as they claim to have fixed the skip issues and improved the mid range. I really like not having a cord to plug in and it really eliminates the problem of snags and risk of breaking the internal wires from inadvertent bending. I bought these after I shorted out a pair of earbuds after 2 days from accidentally bending them. I paid like $72 for these Bluebuds listed as new and turned out have been slightly used with a little earwax grease on the tips. Kind of gross. I feel like I paid a little too much all things considered but if you can get a good deal on the x2 version, Id go with that for sure. But These came with a bunch of different soft earpieces so they will fit anybody. I tried all the configurations until I found the one that suited me best. The new X2 buds are probably the best on the market. I like these 1st gen Xs but I plan to upgrade when the price comes down on the X2s. The only design flaw I can see is that they are at risk of loss if you hang them around your neck when not in use as they could potentially fall on the ground somewhere and you might not notice. Oh yeah and you can also take phone calls on them when they come by manipulating the 3 button control pad, which is convenient. Volume, pause and track selection can be made also. These are ok if you dont have much money and want a wireless headset to work out with or chill. Read full review

Great headphones, attractive, great sound quality, and very easy to pair with any bluetooth enabled devices. However, here are the issues I ran into: 1) Sweat that will inevitably run into your ears from running or from other activities, loosens the seal that the rubber inserts have in your ear. As a result, they tend to pop out or gradually push out of your ears during the duration of your workout. 2) The other issue I ran into is with the battery. Now, the battery is actually quite good--lasts for about 5 days or so. The only issue is the warning it gives you when the battery is low. The warning is not really much of a warning, as the device just shuts down maybe 5 -10 minutes after announcing it's low. 3) The headphone's themselves, when anchored in your years, makes you look a bit goofy. The headphone's kind of jut out like Shrek ears.Read full review

This is my 2nd pair of Jaybird wireless phones, as my 1st set mistakenly went through the washer. Honestly, it was an easy decision to get another pair of the same headphones, since they are so GREAT. The fit is comfortable, the plugs cut out ambient background noise and the sound quality is amazing. Nice, deep bass and great balance. They are great for running and working out. Highly recommend Jaybirds!

I can't really find anything bad to say about these. It took a bit of trial and error, mixing and matching the various buds and wings until I found a setup that fit my ear, but once I had done so they fit perfectly and the sound is good. Before I found the propper fit they would fall out, if only ever so slightly it would still cause the bass to disappear. So if you buy these my recommendation is to fiddle around with the extra parts until you find a combination that works for your ear. They are lightweight and when fit propper they do a great job of "cancelling out" outside noise. At the gym I have found that I can keep the volume at a comfortable level without getting much external interference (mostly i don't hear the music playing at the gym even when listening to talking podcasts). The sound is very good for in-ear headphones. At 40 bucks it's a steal in my opinion.Read full review

This was my first set of bluetooth earbuds. I'm very happy with them, however they could be a little louder. The range of the buds is pretty good. I can set my phone down and walk away from it and it doesn't breakup. Very comfy, can't really tell I have them in. They seem to slip out a little when I'm outside in the heat. My guess it's because of the sweat. I'm comparing these to my Bose wired buds.

If you like headphone fit to be more "pressed into your ears" then these aren't for you. The sound quality is good, but small disturbances to the cord will cause the headphones to lose the pressed-in fit they're capable of achieving when you find the right combination of tips & wings. This might not be a problem if you wear the cord under your chin and just run, but I don't just run, and there was no way I found to wear the cord that fully prevented it from being disturbed during a typical workout; it would snag on my head, my neck, my hair, my shirt, or just be acted on by gravity (like by lying on a bench, being sideways, etc). Consequently, I found myself pressing the buds into my ears every few minutes, and ultimately too distracted to keep using them.

Right when i got these headphones there was a constant static noise whenever i played music or had sound and at first i didnt notice but then it seems like its been getting louder. Ive tried resetting and it never worked. The Earbuds have amazing Sound quality as well. I feel as if my eats hurt more because of the wings but im not gonna use them as much anymore.
