    This was a great system and the control was what I needed

    ...however... It seems age takes a toll on these wonderful appliance switches and light dimmers. Mine used to work all over the house. Today, not so much. I cannot control a living room light from a bedroom. It seems the signal strength produced by these boxes decreases with age There are probably more reasons why they've been discontinued as well. One reason to discontinue these is their inability to work with LED or the toxic mercury-filled lamps. incandescents are still okie dokie if you're within the new range limits of the switches.

    Remote works great.

    Purchased to replace one that died. I use it to turn on and off the lights in my garage. Glad to have found replacement on E-Bay. The Radio Shack stores where I live are all gone.

    Control center is time saving.

    I had a Radio Shack control center that after many years wore out. I was so glad to be able to find a new one to replace it. With one touch I can turn on lights all over the house instead of having to turn them on by hand. A great product.
