    2016 Ram Truck modification,Cabin Filter

    2016 Dodge Ram Modification to my truck, found out my truck year model doesn't even have a cabin filter!? However, with this simple modification found on "youtube" simple 30 minute quick fix with a K&N reusable cabin filter, I 9now have a cabin filter on my truck. Great because I have severe allergies and this will greatly help me this spring/summer season.....highly recommend this model for your truck....

    Doesn’t fit 2013 Ram 1500 w/o Jerry rigging it

    This didn’t Fit for my 2013 ram 1500. The locking clips are not long enough to snap on the lock sets. The door fit, but they need to adjust the length of the locking clips on the door. I had to Jerry rig the door to get it to work.

    MOPAR parts are the way to go.

    Cutting out the plastic for the install was a bit tricky, I used a sharp utility knife and cleaned up the opening with a Dremel tool. Filter slid right in, cover snapped into place easily and tight. Entire job took about 30 minutes. Wonder why Dodge didn't do this at the factory. My RAM is a '16 Big Horn 1500.

    RAM Cabin Air Filter Cover

    my 2013 ram slot had to be cut out with razor knife like shown in ebay videos. however mine did not snap into position so i applied gorilla duct tape around, top to bottom in middle to hold in place. i got an fabreeze air filter for it at advanced auto. i think the product is OK, and i fault dodge for the cover clips not snapping into place. thanks, r.brown

    Exactly what I needed

    I work for a water district and I'm constantly driving and very dusty areas in my 2500 Ram truck. I could never keep my truck clean inside due to the Dust. I did the cutout thing that you see on YouTube put the filter in snap the cover on and oh my God my truck a week later is so clean inside. I use the recirculation feature on high for about a week. I'm reluctant to look at the filter it must be so dirty. Now that my truck is clean I'm going to get one of those carbon filters
