Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing, minimal pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, no writing in margins. No missing pages. Some of the damage can be seen on the listing photos including the knife slash (?) on the third book’s backcover but just barely, I would suggest more detailed photos. They were shipped quickly. This set is of great sentimental value to me--someone gave my previous set away by mistake. The price seemed reasonably in line, and the books are in wonderful shape.
