    Coolpix L340 - A Good Little Point and Shoot Camera

    This Coolpix L340 is quite a jump up from my former Coolpix P100! The controls are in the same place, though, so the learning curve is simple!! And the battery is the same, too. Focus is sharp as can be, I used to have trouble focusing on red and green things. Not any more!! Mostly I sought a similar camera, but not all Coolpix cameras offer the PASM controls. This is critical to my shooting. Yes, I'm going to love using this camera!!

    Poor quality, poor value

    I'm not at all happy with this camera. for 20.2 MP it doesn't take very good pictures. It is small and hard to handle for someone with large hands. The anti shake doesn't work very well. Too many of my pictures came out blurry, and I had to re-take them several times. If the chance of a lifetime shot comes along, this camera will screw it up.

    Excellent camera, excellent price

    Many people have other feelings and reviews about this camera; I honestly believe its a good investment for an excellent starter camera. This camera takes gorgeous photos and 720p videos. If your looking for a perfect camera, buying a more expensive one would be a good idea. Ideally, I enjoy this camera and the features it has to offer.

    Perfect for my needs

    Upgrading from a boxy point and click. This was a great pick. Not too complex, not too simple. High quality shots. In fact, I just made a 24"x36" poster from a beautiful shot and the pixels held up well to that magnification.

    It is really great!!

    I finally found a larger, much easier to hold and use, especially if you have large hands. I had missed my old large 35mm camera and never could get used to the new tiny cameras. The picture is wonderful, a very wide angle standard lens, and the controls are easy to use. You will love the camera!
