      Great speed

      I am on the Microsoft Insider program. It use to take me 4 to 5 hours to update my system with my old hard drive. Now it takes me about 40 minutes. My machine starts immediately and shuts down just as fast. This drive installs very easily on my board. Copied my hard drive to this drive with no problems. I shall see how long it lasts being overwritten frequently on the program. So far very happy.

      Slow write speed

      Put it in a SATA interfaced enclosure that supports USB 3 gen 1. I got pretty impressive read speed at 450MB/s but the write speed is at only 150-170MB/s. One possible reason might be the lack of TRIM support on USB enclosures. There are a lot options on the market with better controllers and they have much faster writes even without TRIM support. Not recommended.

      Crucial MX300 275GB

      I bought this to replaced the failed drive in Dell Optiplex 9020M. very easy to installed. I installed Windows 7 Pro, it took no more then 10 mins. Reboot the machine takes 3-4 mins or less

      Computer boots fast, works well and a good price for $85

      This thing works and gets my desktop custom built computer up in about 20 secs. Note that this is a SATA ssd not a NVME (which is faster when connecting to a M.2 ultra slot), however the speeds aren't noticeable.

      Great much faster computer. Like night and day you just copy your files over and it turns into your main drive.

      Works perfect. Start-up is about 10 seconds now. Muhahaha
