    I bought this item because it was made by JB Weld and they have been a staple in my garage for years. I purchased this muffler wrap repair patch to repair a atv muffler that was splitting at a seam. After sanding and preparing the area for the patch I applied the tape to the area and used the aluminum tape to adhere it until muffler got hot and did its magic. After two days restarted for a short ride and it completely blew of leaving just a black mess on my muffler. Not typical JB Weld quality.

    worked well, would be better if more flexible so as to fit non symmetrical mufflers, I used it on a 4 wheeler muffler and its very irregular.
