- k***p (89)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseBail cast CV joint boot works well and easy to install. Glue is really strong and easy to use. Product was past its use by date by 6m but worked fine. Grease seemed to be of high quality and removed the sounds coming from my cv. Clamps are hard to tension and I ended up with $3 ribbon clamps from Repco which secured it tighter. Tip, warm up the cv joint boot with a hair dryer to make it easier to slip over the hub side and I cut mine on the hub after securing and testing.

My advice is to have the boots diameter tighter than looser if it is off my a couple mm on the shaft. I found it easier to trim the excess off the clamps and spray the whole thing down with brake cleaner to remove any grease not in the axle or everytime you're about to pincer the clamps it will slide off the boot.
