      Samsung 860QVO

      I’m only a novice geek taking lessons off YouTube. Really easy to install, clone and restart. Went from a 320 gig HDD to 1TB with only issue being a neglected to resize the partitions so I had to do it twice. Very good quality running around 10X the speed of the HDD with no other upgrades. Highly recommend downloading the Samsung utility app for their drives. Really an asset for understanding what’s going on inside.

      I got my computer back! (Dont forget the cable)

      After years of faithful service, my old SSD had predictably reached the end of its useful life - taking longer on start-up, freezing on larger applications and showing little free memory space, despite appropriate memory management. Samsung Migration software made the process quick and easy, with the computer back up and running within 15 minutes. Don't forget to create a restore point, JIC... Having read other reviews, I knew to get a USB to SATA cable, which is NOT included, for about $5. Overall, for a fraction of the cost and e-waste of a new computer, I hope to have doubled the life and memory of my one!

      Samsung support makes it easy to install and set up and really fast performance

      Samsung SSD's are the best replacement for an old disk hard drive. The Samsung data migration software makes the swap out easy and flawless. Then once installed running Userbenchmark results in Outstanding; Performing way above expectations (86th percentile.

      As of the time of this review 8-7-19, this is the SSD you are looking for.

      Worked out of the box. Screw holes aligned perfectly where old HDD used to be. SATA connections fit correctly even though pre-purchase product photos in advertisement are typically poor in showing this angle. Ran a performance test before and after installation to find that it was well worth the upgrade. I believe the warranty is 3 years and the life expectancy is calculated out at 34 years.
