      Works as intended

      I have not had time to use the conversion much, but my initial test seems to indicate the item is well made and serves the purpose. After more time I can update my impression, but for now I am happy.

      Careful if you don't have a grinder

      The end is a bit long to click into a dewalt impact gun. You have to grind off about 1/4" and then it fits perfect. Not sure about other brands. Great price, good value.

      Its all metal, good bang for the bucks!

      For the price its a good deal, its not as high a quality as a Dewalt or a Milwaukee, but then those cost over three times as much! It remains to be seen how long the chuck will last, I can say that it has the same components as the higher quality name brand types, ...Its all metal, so I like that! I like that its NOT KEYLESS, thats a good thing because it has more grip.

      Upgrade your Impact

      Great way to use standard hss, cobalt or carbide straight shank drill bits on your 1/4 inch hex recess impact. The savings in the difference between hex shank drill bits and straight shank drill bits alone pays for this chuck. Plus you can chuck the adapter and use 1/2 square drive for your impact. The keyed chuck is much more reliable than the keyless and you can use the chuck for drilling and load a driver bit very quickly. The quality is very good for any work shop!

      Extra drill chuck for your impact driver

      Just what I needed for my impact driver. Seems like you can get a drill/driver combo pack everywhere now but this drill chuck gives you that extra usefullness to your impact driver. It even comes with a 1/2" drive adaptor socket - what more can you ask for? If you are afraid it wobbles then go back to your drill.
