    the original ripping-good holiday ghost story!

    Much more a stage production than some Hollywood fable you may be expecting, which makes it all the more preferable to my taste. If you like theater, this is for you: the essence of Dickens' script in all it's raw presence. This engages you first person and leaves less room for anything you might want to use as a security blanket. The faces will most likely be as unfamiliar to you as they were to me, but they'll soon have you wondering if you really DO know whats coming. The chills are organic and this is proof of their craft as opposed to simple reliance on a digitally enhanced duplicate of a Victorian classic. Come in, sit down. Let the echo of a quill pen scratching on parchment send a chill down your back. Pull up your collar against the cold wind as you trudge homeward under that ...

    A DARKER APPROACH TO A CHRISTMAS CAROL

    This version of Charles Dickens "A Chistmas Carol" is a whole new approach. The cinematography is excellent with all the dark colors. The story is well acted in a British soapbox style. A must see!

    Not the best adaptation.

    It was described as eerie and scary. It was a cheaply made production and the performances were not very authentic. I feel this is the worst adaptation of A Christmas Carol and I have seen over a dozen of them.
