The condition of it seems to be in great shape. The QUALITY of this thick edge seal Seat Cushion, Egg Shape was very great to sit on for long periods of time. I am having good luck. At least know when I get up from my computer chair my tail bone and butt isn't numb anymore.

This might be an improvement for you, depending on how your chair feels now. But for me, this didn't help to soften my chair at all.
