Synopsis
This supplement for Across A Deadly Field includes a number of scenarios of differing size and complexity, intended to give players a wide variety of options for their American Civil War games. The scenarios cover a number of the most famous battles of the Eastern Theater, including 1st Bull Run, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Brandy Station and Gettysburg, and offer both modestly sized and larger battles to the player. The smaller scenarios focus not only on smaller battles, but also on engagements within a larger encounter, while the larger scenarios present a wider view of a battle. For example, Antietam offers the three distinct corps-level actions in the north, center and the south at Burnside's Bridge, as well as the full battle. This offers Across A Deadly Field players a versatility that can accommodate their preferences and collections without sacrificing either playability of historical accuracy.

Amazing deal! The description said like new but the box and cards inside were still wrapped in plastic so it had never been used or opened. There was one little corner on the box that was not perfect but I’ve received brand new decks like that before just from shipping. I will definitely purchase from this seller again.

Not exactly as described. Condition on listing "very good; damaged". Item has puncture/tear in middle of box. Wish used actual pictures instead of stock photo and "shelving wear on corners" to see actual damage. Luckily, not gifting to anyone. Shipping time was reasonable. Shipping packaging was lacking; padded envelope ONLY for a box kit, no protection. Otherwise no damage to actual kit parts. Overall satisfied with this transaction because of price for condition.

Fast shipper, item was well packed for shipping, item received was not in great condition. But seller quickly responded to the problem, and could not have been more helpful, I would gladly buy from this seller again.

  • Review of “Across A Deadly Field: The war in the east” by Mr. John Hill

This is another great rule set, for war gaming the Civil War! These were written by Mr. John Hill, a MILITARY analyst, and wargaming expert, who has written several war game rules sets! This set covers the Civil War in the east, and it complements the rule set Civil War in the west, and the regimental set up of civil war war gaming units! I highly recommend all three of these rule sets, that are written by a good friend, and wargaming expert! These rules also have a lot of Civil War historical information, that is good for any Civil War historian! Once again these rule sets are very highly recommended!
