    Nearly perfect edition of BOTH IVAN THE TERRIBLE Part 1 and 2

    Criterion has done a breathtaking job of restoring this movie duo with a pristine print and clean up. Film scholars have had this on their must watch lists for decades and this is probably the best way to see it now. You get Part One and Two and little bits of Part three, the one Stalin hated and pulled the plug on. Expert commentary and lots of behind the scenes material. Essential for Eisenstein devotees.
