One person's picture-perfect life explained
Neat adventure and I understand that the charmed life the author is blessed to experience was due to his own "surrendering to life" but the HOW part wasn't clear to me.. it was one story after another about how wonderfully his life unfolded (even before he learned/chose to surrender to every event in life). PhD student, perfect grades without even attending class, gave half efforts (at best) and coasted through each program - with job offers from highly respected professors to boot... if everyone could get college money from their parents, build a cabin in the woods and go "find thyself" I agree there'd be a lot less stress in our society. It just didn't resonate with me, most of us don't see such a path (nor had the privilege at such a young age to have such vast opportunities). A lot of people love this book. I liked it ok, but I can't recommend it if you're pursuing discovery of self. I prefer Eckhart Tolle by far.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

If you enjoyed Untethered Soul.
I've read the Untethered Soul cover to cover at least three times and selected passages even more. It was interesting to learn the author's complete story, and even more compelling to hear of the conditions under which he authored it.
